Topics: Given the GRSF requirements, how to implement the main components of the GRSF applications architecture. With this call the related activities are triggered.

Notes
- FAO summarized the requirements (provided on the 5th of August 2016) and introduced its expectations for software architecture and functionality.
- FORTH presented the updated software architecture diagrams for the construction of the GRSF Knowledge Base and for its exploitation of the GRSF KB: https://support.d4science.org/projects/stocksandfisherieskb/wiki/GRSF_KB#Tools-and-Services
- FORTH intends to use the CKAN data catalogue as a data source for GRSF, and as the publication means.
- CNR described the CKAN data catalogue of D4S and iMarine and its main features.
Follow-up actions
- CNR will analyze the data model reported at https://support.d4science.org/projects/stocksandfisherieskb/wiki/GRSF_database_overview#Fields-of-the-GRSF-record-and-rules-for-importing to understand how to model Stock and Fishery records in the CKAN data catalogue. After this analysis, the technical details of the API will be discussed with FORTH to finalize the design phase and deliver the API.
- FAO and FORTH will have a call (Monday 12 September 2016) to revise the features of the Knowledge Base and to discuss the GRSF requirements. CNR is invited to participate.
