- 16 October 2019 Towards GRSF pilot release, exchanging with FORTH colleagues to agree on short term actions for the pilot release.
Meeting Notes¶
Participants:
FAO (Bracken van Niekerk, Aureliano Gentile)
FORTH (Yannis Marketakis)
Main topics
- Sparql query with metadata and BBOX for the GRSF viewer.
- GRSF web service updater
- New Data harvest (RAM version 4.48, FishSource new API version 5, FIRMS updated list of IDs/OIDs)
Follow-up actions¶
- GRSF Service Updater: FORTH to complete the fix and liaise with CNR - this is a key fix to allow GRSF team to manually updates records
- FORTH: The data harvest needs to be done in a supervised way and in a test VRE environment so to avoid to compromise the pilot release - the harvest can go in parallel together with the other activities mentioned in the previous call 19-10-03-GRSF_pilotrelease.
Steps for the data harvest:
- Set up a new test VRE
- Build a new GRSF KB in the test VRE (a new triple store)
- cross check with the current GRSF Admin to preserve all of the updates (approve, archive, merge, reject, etc.) including the UUID
- Validation and replacement in the GRSF VREs
FAO, to provide Excel files for further approval of FIRMS and RAM records
FORTH to provide Sparql query with metadata and BBOX for Emmanuel who will use it for develop the GRSF viewer.
The proposed Metadata discussed in the previous call are at the moment creating some problems to FORTH (duplication of source records, etc.), therefore the following metadata have been agreed for this first implementation:
- UUID
- URL
- Semantic identifier
- GRSF name
- Short name
- GRSF Type
