Thanks for the update.
I carried out some updates and this is what we're delivering.
@aureliano.gentile@fao.org let me know if it is OK.

Dear Yannis, thanks a lot.
But please note that the title [Title]. is still missing in the above proposal.
Sorry, I see now it is missing

All the GRSF records have been updated in GRSF Admin.
As a result the citation should have been updated for all of them.
If I remember correctly, this indicates the date that the record is accessed in the catalog.
It was supposed to be a dynamic attribute that will be generated by the catalogue when the record was visualized.
Am I correct? Do you remember something else?
Yes, it is today's date.
Nothing more that that, you cite a page indicating when you accessed it...(that is today)! ;-)
This is something to be handled by the catalogue itself, not by the service publishing the records.
@francesco.mangiacrapa@isti.cnr.it is that possible?
Hi all,
I confirm that the "Citation" facility/button (handled by the catalogue itself) takes the Citation field displayed in the record and replaces the part/placeholder "[Date accessed and/or downloaded]" with the current date.
On my side, the facility works as expected (see the attached screenshot). Tested on Firefox and Chrome.
If the problem persists, could you try with a hard refresh of the page? Thanks.
Let me know...
Thanks Fracesco, now I understand the issue. The Citation works fine from the "Button" while the today's date is not generated in the CKan record page (as per my previous screenshot). But indeed, if complex to fix it is not a big issue, so we can close this ticket.

Hi @aureliano.gentile@fao.org,
this is not a bug, but a requirement "approved" in the past (see https://support.d4science.org/issues/10960#note-6). In my opinion, the button "Citation" implemented is a good and explicit facility/functionality to cite a GRSF Record.
Instead, I think the "Citation" field presented (as is) in the Catalogue/CKAN record page may be hidden (by the Catalogue itself), maintaining visible (only) the "Citation" button, and allowing the user to cite a GRSF Record only via "an explicit action" (so by clicking on) the "Citation" button.
Now, if my suggestion is:
- "good" - please you open a new ticket for the activity;
- "bad" - you can close this ticket.
Regards, F.

Dear all,
as reported in the previous comment, the Catalogue template displays the citation field with the message containing the placeholder "[Date accessed and/or downloaded]" that is replaced with the current time (and shown into a Pop-up to the user) by clicking on the "Citation" button. This use case is an expected behaviour, and it was a "defined/approved" requirement in the past. If we want to change this behaviour, it will be discussed and a new enhancement ticket opened in the future.
Thanks Francesco for the detailed explanations, I think can stay as it is for now as at the moment we do have other priorities for the GRSF. This can be considered a minor issue and I agree this ticket is closed.
