The participants reviewed the updated GRSF catalogue and the new features regarding the UUIDs.
Here follows suggestions for improving the GRSF interface (CKAN Catalogue):
- Readability of the semantic identifier: show the prefix (ie classification system name) in lower cases and the Codes in bold capital case
- In the record page, only show the last value of the data series (the full data series can be accessed from the CSV)
- In the CSV links, also include the name of the relevant database source
- For merged records: in the area field and similar, only put the standard code(s) that is/are in the semantic identifier, instead of all the different codes found in the different database sources (this could be implemented in the public GRSF)
Follow-up actions
- FishSource to test the UUIDs logic and implementation
- CNR to improve the CKan catalogue as per above minutes
