Topics: i) Preparation of the material for the EAB TWG meeting on GRSF regarding the agenda item on GRSF standards, ii) Validation of GRSF competency queries.

Notes

  • FAO briefly described the content of the EAB TWG meeting on GRSF (28 February - 2 March 2017) and how this will be structured. The agenda item on standards is particularly relevant to FORTH colleagues who volunteered to prepare a document on scenarios and solutions. The document will be discussed in a new call next week for its finalization.
  • FAO reported that RAM has provided list of areas with coordinates of the bounding boxes. Interactions are in progress to provide mapping rules. This file could serve as a test for the proposed solutions on area standards.
  • FAO highlighted the need to complete the revision of the competency queries. Upon FORTH suggestion, FAO will revise the current queries in the GRSF Admin VRE and will report the pending issues also considering the latest exchanges held with FORTH. Follow-up actions

  • FORTH to circulate the draft document on standards by Monday 13 February
  • FAO to provide RAM areas with mapping rules and bounding boxes
  • FAO to revise the competency queries and report any issue (by Monday 13)
  • FAO to launch the next call for Tuesday 14 February
