VSURF VRE - error during Create

Description
I am trying to deploy a VRE "vsurf.R" that uses the VSURF R library to select important variables using random forest. The code (https://github.com/slarge/HabMod/blob/master/vsurf.R) runs locally. When I compile using the Stat. Alg. Importer "create" tab, I get an error with no message. If I try to publish, I get an error "Attention No Source Code Found!". Further, this code requires the type of cluster "PSOCK", "FORK" or "MPI", and I'm not certain what these settings should be for the VRE (I went with PSOCK as the documentation said this is the default for most OS).

I assume you are not deploying a VRE, rather you are trying to deploy a DataMiner algorithm in a VRE. Am I wrong?
Dunno in which context you are trying to perform this task, I'm not aware of any VSURF VRE.
I kindly invite you to add more details.

Hi @scott.large@ices.dk, we need to know the environment where you are exploiting SAI. Is it RPrototypingLab? Knowing this, Paolo will help you.
The issue is on ScalableDataMining. The error reported by the portlet is the one raised by the service. In this case it is evident that there is an exception but the error message is empty. Can you share the folder project with @g.panichi@isti.cnr.it and Paolo.
I have added @valentina.marioli@isti.cnr.it to the ticket, she is currently checking if the issuce can be somehow related to some workspace issue.

Now, we have reset the project. Please, can @scott.large@ices.dk open the project and make a new Create and Publish for test? Thanks
