SFP fishing gears not under the ISSCFG code

Hi Merul
Handlines hand operated is a type of fishing gear created by SFP (within Hooks and lines group) and not recognized under the ISSCFG code. I believe this is the reason to not having the fishing gear on this GRSF record: http://data.d4science.org/ctlg/GRSF_Admin/5dda87ff-3440-3c89-a333-19dfb938c58b

I just want to understand how to deal with this type of fishing gear (there are others), if a different sub-set needs to be considered in next sync or if this was already foreseen but it was not captured correctly.

I've checked the Fisheries endpoint for this fishery (https://www.fishsource.org/api/bluebridge/v4/fisheries/3547) and observe the gear information returned has a gear for which no ISSCFG exists:

For these gears, Aureliano has issued us with an sfp_gear code that should be used instead, and as you can see this is being returned. Should this not be listed on the GRSF record?

I confirm that the sfp_gear exists in the source record.
@aureliano.gentile@fao.org can you please suggest the name of the system to be used in this case? (e.g. SFP?)
I'm referring to the information to be added in the Fishing gear field (see image attached)

Thanks a lot, I checked in the Wiki requirement https://support.d4science.org/projects/stocksandfisherieskb/wiki/GRSF_database_overview#GRSF-Semantic-IDs-and-GRSF-standards and in the TWG2 report (http://www.fao.org/fi/static-media/MeetingDocuments/BlueBRIDGE/EAB-TWG2-GRSF/EAB-TWG2-GRSF_REPORT.pdf par. 26-27), so it should be:
name of the code system: SFP fishing gear classification
namespace: SFP:

OK I will update this (and the corresponding GRSF records).
If this is OK, we will do it for other cases as well (i.e. http://data.d4science.org/ctlg/GRSF_Admin/ded6c41e-4e8c-3ee5-be7a-b71892529df8)
In total I see that there are 426 records that could be updated.

In total we have updated the following:
- 426 fishery records coming from FishSource. For them we have added information about their SFP-related fishing gears
- 426 GRSF fishery records. For them, we have added information about their fishing gear and we have updated their semantic identifier accordingly.

thanks a lot, I checked two examples, http://data.d4science.org/ctlg/GRSF_Admin/5dda87ff-3440-3c89-a333-19dfb938c58b and https://bluebridge.d4science.org/group/grsf_admin/data-catalogue?path=/dataset/5dda87ff-3440-3c89-a333-19dfb938c58b
and I see that the SFP gear is in the semantic identifier but NOT in the title where it is still missing.

The GRSF records have been updated. Although the fishery name and title (the fields) have been updated it seems that the title of the record in the catalog (the heading) is not updated.
I'll ask CNR colleagues about this (I'll open a new ticket)
