It probably went down during our last backup and was never turned back on.

I see that tomcat has been restarted (by @tommaso.piccioli@isti.cnr.it ?)
That host is completely unknown to nagios.

I see now that http://cotrix.d4science.org:8080/cotrix/ and https://cotrix.d4science.org:8443/cotrix/ is responding, however I remember that the machine was responding on https 443 as well, (and is not now) so my guess is that there's a reverse proxy to restart as well @tommaso.piccioli@isti.cnr.it

There is no script to start tomcat at boot, anyway, this node will be dismissed very soon, I just manually started tomcat.
