CAB Questionnaire

For the providers who tested the service, the following questions address the usability of the broker user interfaces as well as the value of the content delivered to end users.

  • Are the kind of possible events well presented and comprehensible on the user interface? If not why?
  • Is it easy to search/refine among the broker events and subscribe to those of interest? If not why?
  • Are the kind of possible events to which you can subscribe to relevant for your application domain?
  • Is the information contained in the notified event valuable? I.e. does it adhere to the subscription topic? If not why?
  • Is the information contained in the notified event providing new information? If not why?
  • Is the information contained in the notified event complete? If not why?
  • Are there other classes of events (topics) you could be interested in? If yes which?
  • In the subsequent releases alerts events (which identify errors in the data and/or in the relationship) will be introduced. They will consider incomplete data (i.e. missing title), data not compliant to the guidelines, and inconsistencies obtained by the claiming service through users feedback. Do you think this kind of events will be useful? Do you think more alert events should be considered? If yes which?
  • If events generated by other systems could be included in those notified by the OpenAIRE broker, would you be interested in receiving them? If yes from which generator?
  • How do you evaluate the utility of the enrichment functionality? (Not important, Slightly Important, Moderately Important, Important, Very important)
  • How do you evaluate the interface usability of Catch-All Broker service? (Very Poor, Poor, Acceptable Good, Very Good)
