The jackrabbit repo was restarted successfully from the first tests it seems we're back on regular functioning. The incident is fixed.
Also, I found a catalina.out of 1.6 GB. which I saved in the tomcat/logs folder of the jack rabbit repo host machine, I'm now opening a new task to rotate the catalina.out on this machine
